Winner of BEARMAN 2017 and the son of Michelle and Richard, I literally grew up in the triathlon community, surrounded by athletes coming to Sancture Sportifs. Following my dad’s athletes around the Vallespir on a bike soon became more interesting than doing my homework, so I set off to the local altitude training center (Font-Romeu) with the hope of becoming a pro-triathlete. A few years on and I am still working my way up this ladder. Now in the Junior French Triathlon Team based in Montpellier and currently racing short distance my “Big” dream has always been to “go long” as they say (Ironman distances). I generally feel privileged to help create this the first BEARMAN event alongside my family who have supported me 100% along my journey. I think this race will be something completely new, not just about “finishing a tough Ironman” but simply going on a quest to test new boundaries, a personal challenge to find out where your body and mind can take you. I've ridden the course to know how lonely every athlete will feel out there and I will be the first to salute all those of you who get to the finish line.
